Teaching without research is shallow, and conducting research without teaching is empty. Thus, in order to accurately diagnose the teaching situation of the ninth grade, scientifically optimize the preparation strategies for the Senior High School Entrance Examination, and comprehensively enhance the teaching quality, the Junior High School Department of the east campus organized a classroom research activity for the ninth grade. The school leaders, subject teaching group leaders, and lesson planning group leaders formed a research team, went deep into the classroom frontlines, listened to regular classes, observed the real learning situation, and studied teaching strategies, so as to precisely 'empower' the ninth grade's preparation work.
First and foremost, during the research period, the research team randomly entered the ninth-grade classrooms and listened to the entire class while recording the entire teaching process. Also, in the classrooms, the ninth-grade teachers meticulously prepared lessons and effectively taught, using clear logic to organize the knowledge framework and precise explanations to overcome difficult points. In the meantime, not only did they focus on consolidating basic knowledge but also strengthened the guidance on problem-solving methods and answer norms. On the other hand, in the classrooms, the students were full of energy, sitting upright, closely following the teaching rhythm of the teacher, and actively thinking. Through interactive communication, they deepened their understanding and improved their abilities. Moreover, the intense exam preparation atmosphere, the rigorous classroom rhythm, and the good learning state demonstrated the solid foundation and vigorous striving attitude of the teachers and students from Grade 9 of the Junior High School Department of the east campus.
Furthermore, after the classroom research was completed, each subject group held a classroom research seminar, during which the group leaders of teaching research and lesson planning focused on aspects such as classroom teaching design and the application of teaching methods, who exchanged views on closely aligning with the Senior High School Entrance Examination points, having clear teaching ideas, and highlighting key and difficult points. More remarkably, the overall advantage of the ninth-grade classroom lies in being able to carry out targeted teaching based on students' actual situations. Besides, the professional qualities and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by the teachers made the class both solid and efficient. Additionally, specific and feasible improvement suggestions were proposed for the problems identified during the research, such as classroom rhythm control and the implementation of differentiated teaching, thus providing professional references for the subsequent optimization of teaching in each subject. Meanwhile, the teachers spoke freely, facing the confusion and shortcomings in the teaching process. During the discussion, teachers learned from each other, reaching a consensus on optimizing classroom teaching and improving the quality of review.
In a nutshell, a summary meeting of the classroom research for the ninth grade was held in the later stage of the research, comprehensively reviewing the situation of this classroom research. The ninth grade is a crucial stage in junior high school teaching. Also, this comprehensive diagnosis of the classroom teaching effectiveness of the ninth grade is aimed at precisely controlling the rhythm of the review and preparation for the Senior High School Entrance Examination, analyzing the pain points in teaching, and clarifying the direction for improvement. On the one hand, we will delve deeply into classroom teaching, optimize the design of review classes, and precisely connect with the examination points of the Senior High School Entrance Examination. What's more, we will pay attention to all students, teaching students according to their aptitudes, providing stratified guidance, and striving to create an efficient review classroom. With a firm resolve and a determined spirit, we will forge ahead! The Junior High School Department of the east campus will take this research as an opportunity to continuously focus on the main battlefield of the classrooms, refine the review plan, strengthen teaching management, and fully do a good job in all review services for the ninth grade. More remarkably, it's believed that with the concerted efforts of all, all teachers and students of the ninth grade will surely have a more solid knowledge reserve, a better review state, and a firmer confidence and belief, fully striving for the Senior High School Entrance Examination, and writing a new chapter of high-quality development of Anqing Foreign Language School's education!
